Most rental studios in Cincinnati are clean white cycs and bare floors. Somerhaus is the alternative—an old Over-the-Rhine garage rebuilt as a 3,080 sq ft loft, with a central skylight that throws even, soft daylight down onto exposed brick, concrete, and climbing vines. The room reads as a real venue on camera, not a backdrop pretending to be one.
The roll-up door opens to give you another wash of natural light or a clean industrial frame, depending on where the sun is. The floor is open and unobstructed, so a crew can run multiple setups side by side without rebuilding the room between looks. There's a catering kitchen for craft services, a full bar for wrap, and room for talent, wardrobe, and grip gear without anyone tripping over a c-stand.
